Job Description

Our Interventional Radiologists are board-certified physicians who specialize in minimally invasive, image-guided treatments. We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech to perform basic and advanced Peripheral, Body and Neuro Vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. The hours may vary depending on the department's needs and you will be part of an on-call rotation.

Summary of Essential Duties: 

  • Performs Radiologic Interventional procedures using approved protocols per standards of practice for safety, speed, organization, precision and accuracy 
  • Receives and transcribes verbal orders from licensed independent practitioners 
  • Scrubs, monitors, assists and circulates safely and timely; supplying necessary equipment and performing vascular site management, while supporting FDA approved and clinical research procedures 
  • Reviews all documentation and properly processes all Radiologic Interventional images for accuracy and prepares/sends images to designated viewing systems 
  • Assists physicians performing procedures and ensures all supplies and/or devices are prepared and available in accordance with sterile technique and infection control policies and practices 
  • Prepares and administers contrast and follows department procedures and guidelines in handling of contrast in compliance with all safety requirements 

We are currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus to newly hired Techs!

Qualifications

Education: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of a JCERT accredited radiological program required

Certifications/License:

  • ARRT certification required for IR Tech I
  • ARRT Vascular Interventional or Cardiac Interventional certification required for consideration as IR Tech II
  • California CRT and Fluoroscopy certification required

Experience: 

  • Interventional Radiology experience preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of IR experience required for consideration as IR Tech II
