Job Description

We are a physician organization partnered with Huntington Hospital, a nationally recognized, nonprofit hospital, and an affiliate of Cedars-Sinai Medical Group. We are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care through a collaborative team of primary care physicians and specialists serving the greater Pasadena community. 

 We are seeking a Rheumatologist to join our growing specialty practice in Pasadena, California. This is an excellent opportunity to build a thriving practice while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a supportive, collegial environment. 

Position Highlights

  • Approximately 90% outpatient clinical practice and 10% inpatient consultative care
  • Practice in a well-supported specialty clinic with access to Huntington Hospital. 
  • Collaborative physician culture with an established referral network. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive rheumatology care in the outpatient specialty clinic and inpatient consultative services at Huntington Hospital. 
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions. 
  • Order and interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and diagnostic procedures to develop individualized treatment plans. 
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care. 
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and serve as a clinical resource within the organization. 

Our compensation philosophy: We offer a competitive total compensation and benefits package to our physicians.  The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications /licensure; and other business and organizational factors.  This total pay range includes incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.

Pay Range: $250,000 - $350,000 Total Cash Compensation.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
  • Eligible for California medical licensure.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Three or more years of practice experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
