We are seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing to provide leadership and oversight for sourcing, contracting and purchasing-related activities within Supply Chain Shared Services. In this newly created role, you will integrate product/service category-related analysis and oversight with daily supervision of Contract Administrators and Procurement Specialists. Your goal will be ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and supply assurance across assigned categories as well as sourcing and contracting excellence aligned with our annual plan of purchase and other requests as needed.
The Manager reviews supplier, pricing, operational, and utilization data to support sourcing recommendations, oversees operational purchasing workflows, leads supplier performance evaluation and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). This is to ensure alignment with organizational, financial, and operational objectives. The position requires advanced analytical capabilities, strong decision-making, and the ability to lead staff in achieving service excellence, cost optimization, and compliant purchasing practices. The role also requires excellent communication and collaboration skills enabling our shared service model and supporting the entire health system.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Accounting, Contract Administration, Procurement or a related field required
Master's Degree preferred
Certifications/Licensure:
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager certification (CPCM) preferred
Experience:
- 5 years of progressive responsibility in purchasing, project management, contract and vendor negotiations in a complex environment of a multi hospital setting or a large hospital required
- 5 years of direct experience in on or more category, such as medical surgical, facilities and support services, and or professional services required
- 2 years of Staff leadership experience such as team lead, supervisor, or manager required
